A week of being on my knees more than on my feet.A day of eyes filled with tears.Yes it's been one of those weeks.Oh, the tears aren't from the uncertainties, they are, because in the mist of the uncertainties, God reveals His glory.
I looked into his eyes and ask,"Do you know what the hardest thing about being married to you is?"
His response,"What?"
Me:"I just love you so much!""I am so crazy about you it scares me."I would do anything for you. That's just how much I love you."
Me:"But I don't get same feeling from you."
His response."I love you."
Thinking of our conversation,God intervenes.
"That's how much I love you!"
My thought."Maybe God doesn't get that same feeling he has for me, from me."
I look into her eyes and with her personality there is no room for the next breath as she rambles on about how her mom hurt her.How her mom abandoned her for another man, then another man. She spoke of how her mom didn't care for her.She spoke of how a step father was better to her than a real father. I listened not able to get in a word.?Finally I spoke,"wait, listen to me,just listen."I lowered myself so as I looked across the counter I looked directly into her eyes. Then without a thought,God spoke through me,"I" love you."
Her response,"Really.""Really, now go back to class"
Her response."I will see you tomorrow at the same time."
On my desk calender today:
Have you seen Him?
Those who first did were never the same.
"My Lord and my God!" cried Thomas
" I have seen the Lord,"exclaimed Mary
"We have seen his glory,"declared John
"Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked?"rejoiced Emmaus-bound disciples.
But Peter said it beast,"We were eyewitnesses of his majesty"(2 Peter 1:16)
Some may say coincidence, I say, "All Glory to Him"
